ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಚಪಾತಿ
ಅಂದು ಬೇಡ ನನ್ನ ಪಜೀತಿ
ಒತ್ತಿದೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಚಪಾತಿ
ಅದಾಗಿತ್ತು ಭೂಪಟದ ರೀತಿ
ಹೇಗೋ ಬೇಯಿಸಿದೆ ಚಪಾತಿ
ಅಮ್ಮ ನೋಡಿದಳು ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ
ಬೈದರು ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಕೋತಿ
ಇದೇನು ಹೀಗಿದೆ ಚಪಾತಿ
ಅದೇ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅತಿಥಿ
ಕೊಡಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಚಪಾತಿ
ಕೇಳಿದರು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ರೀತಿ
ತಿನ್ನುವಾಗ ನೋಡಲಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅವರ ಪಜೀತಿ
ಅಂದೇ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಈ ರೀತಿ
ಇನ್ನೆಂದು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಚಪಾತಿ
ಇದೆ ಭವ್ಯ ಭಾರತ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ
